This certification from ASTQB (American Software Testing Qualifications Board) is designed to help testers not only find defects effectively, but also describe them clearly, communicate about them, advocate for their resolution, and collaborate effectively with others. While technical knowledge and knowledge of testing methods are essential for a tester, the ability to communicate effectively, work with a team, resolve conflicts, and clearly present testing results is equally important.

It is important to emphasize that Soft Skills for Testers™ is not an official ISTQB® syllabus. It is a supporting skills area that complements the knowledge gained through ISTQB® certifications.
